Product is used in cattle, horse, sheep, goat and dogs for treating gastrointestinal (especially E.coli originated enteritis, Vibrio entertis and Salmonellosis), respiratory (for bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, aryngitis, tonsillitis of bacterial orgin and especially pneumoia, pleura pneumonia, enzootic pneumonia due to pasteurella haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida infections), urogenital system infections caused by sensitive bacteria ( as cystitis, vaginitis, nephritis, foot diseases (foot rot), and other local treatment for mastitis, metritis and secondary bacterial infections associated with viral infections.

The combination of trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole acts synergistic and usually bactericidal
against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella,
Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. Both compounds affect bacterial purine
synthesis in a different way, as a result of which a double blockade is accomplished.

Hypersensitivity to trimethoprim and/or sulphonamides.
Administration to animals with a seriously impaired renal and/or hepatic function or with blood
dyscrasias.

Product should be administered to the cattle, sheep and goats in intra-muscular and slow
intravenous (iV) fashion. in horses and dogs, only
intravenous route should be used. lntravenous
administration should be slow and preparatıon

Treatment may conıınue for 3-5 days nccordıng ta
course of the infectıon. As effıcıenı conccntrat,an ıs
maintained about 12 hours, daıly dose should be divided into two and thus administered

– For meat: 12 days.
– For milk: 4 days.

Anaemia, leucopenia and thrombocytopenia.
